My passion for AGA engineering started in 2002 when I started working for a local AGA engineering company in Devizes. I then worked directly for AGA Rangemaster for 8yrs, before moving to a well established Range cooker company in Somerset.

The year 2020 came and hit us all, but I decided I wanted to move into AGA engineering for myself and my family, giving me the flexibility to work how I wanted.

My years of experience working with AGA and Rayburn customers has taught me that communication is the key to great service, and I pride myself on having a very high level of communication.

I feel my work ethic and honesty set me apart from most, and I will always do my best to make sure you get a great service.

  • AGA servicing, maintenance, installations and conversions

    I am Gas Safe and Oftec registered so I can work on Oil, Gas or Electric Agas.

    Aga Gas Service: every 12 months

    • Inspect main burner
    • Check and replace thermo couple
    • Soundness test
    • Check for adequate ventilation
    • Check burner pressure
    • Check ignition
    • Spillage test
    • Leak test
    • Check flue terminal
    • Parts:Thermocouple

    Aga Oil Service: every 6 months

    • Clean and decarbonise burner
    • Inspect shells on burner
    • Renew wicks
    • Check flueways (where applicable)
    • Check controls for operation
    • Check oil feed pipe condition
    • Check burner levels
    • Check for clean combustion
    • Check if fire valve fitted
    • Parts: Wicks and tank filter if required.

    If your Aga is out and wont relight, wont stay alight or is up in temperature or down in temperature, I am able to help.

    If your Aga is looking a bit tired I can help with sprucing your Aga up with advice on re-enamelling and refurbishment. I can also help with complete renovations or something as simple as adjusting a door or lid.

  • Rayburn servicing and maintenance

    I am Gas Safe and Oftec registered so I can work on Oil and Gas Rayburns.

    Regular servicing and maintenance will ensure your Rayburn is in best working order for years to come.

    Rayburn Gas Service: every 12 months
    • Check all seals and clean under hotplate
    • Inspect main burner
    • Check and replace thermocouple
    • Soundness test
    • Check for adequate ventilation
    • Check burner pressure
    • Check ignition
    • Spillage test
    • Leak test
    • Check flue terminal
    • Parts:Thermocouples and gaskets

    Rayburn Vaporising Oil Service: every 6 months
    • Clean and decarbonise burner
    • Inspect shells on burner
    • Renew wicks
    • Check flueways (where applicable)
    • Check controls for operation
    • Check oil feed pipe condition
    • Check burner levels
    • Check for clean combustion
    • Check if fire valve fitted
    • Parts: Wicks and tank filter if required.
    • Complete oil tank and supply inspection

    Rayburn pressure jet 400 series service: every 12 months
    • Check hot plate seals and clean appliances baffles and flueways
    • Check and inspect main burners
    • Check and inspect fan,motor,electrics etc
    • Check controls and operation
    • Check protection plate
    • Check pressures
    • Check appliances combustion
    • Check fire valve
    • Replace nozzles and gaskets
    • Complete oil tank and supply inspection

  • AGA and Rayburn cleaning and restoration

    In the summer months or before a special occasion, why not get your AGA or Rayburn winter ready with a professional deep clean and service at the same time?

    As an engineer I can get to places your average cleaning company can’t and use the right products to bring your AGA back from that hard winters use.

    Cleaning your AGA or Rayburn
    • Remove lids, doors and handrails
    • Clean every square inch of enamel and polish
    • Clean chrome domes, door liners and lid liners
    • Clean and oil the ovens and hot plates

  • Electric conversions

    With fossil fuels like oil and gas becoming ever more unfavourable in the worlds green agenda, you can convert your AGA to electric.

    I love the ElectriKit conversion!

    The ElectriKit gives you complete control of your AGA with the ability to have your top oven temperature anywhere between plate warming temperature and 280°c turning your roast potato’s golden crisp and crackling snap snap!

    Your hot plates can be used individually or both at the same time when you want to cook for the family.
